ಗೊಜ್ಜವಲಕ್ಕಿ /gojjavalakki Method 1: Revathy Shrikanth Ingredients Avalakki thick variety 1 cup ground coursely Jaggery - small lemon size tamarind water 1/4 cup Rasam powder - 1 tbsp Salt to taste water 1/2 cup For seasoning oil 4 tsp mustard seeds 1tsp Channa dal 1tsp urad dal 1tsp curry leaves ground nuts 2tsp hing one pinch Grated coconut 1/4 cup For garnishing chopped coriander leaves Method Mix bella, tamarind juice, water, rasam powder, salt, chilli powder. Add the coursely ground avalakki and keep it aside till it absords all the water. This mixture can be tasted to adjust the Uppu/huli/kaara. Heat oil in kadai and add the seasonings one by one. Add grated coconut and mix well. Add the avalakki mixture. Mix well and heat it till its little hot. Garnish it with coriander.
