Menthyada hiTTu - ಮೆಂತ್ಯದ ಹಿಟ್ಟು
ಮೆಂತ್ಯದ ಹಿಟ್ಟು - Methyada HiTTu (Suma Prasad)
- 1/2 cup thogaree bELe (toor dal)
- 1/2 cup kaDLe bELe (channa dal)
- 1/2 cup hesaru bELe (moong dal)
- 1/4 cup uddina bELe (urad dal)
- 1/2 cup godi nucchu (broken wheat)
- 1/4 cup menthya (methi seeds)
- 1 tbsp meNsu (pepper)
- 6 to 10 meNasinakaayi (red chilly)
- Pinch of Harishina / Arashina / haLdi (turmeric)
- Salt according to your taste
Process:
- Dry Roast all the above ingredients together
- Powder them fine
- Add them to hot rice with a spoon of ghee and relish it. A great healthy option on any day.
