kotthambari chutney

Recipe: Kottambari Chuntney

Harshini: 
1 bowl kothambri sappu
1 bowl pudina
Bella - sihi eshtu beko ashtu.. (App 2 spoons) 
Half cup hunase hannu.. Soaked. 

Grind everything, take a thick bottom pan, add 4 spoons oil , mustard and hing a lil, 1 tbsp turmeric,and add this paste and stir until it's  cooked.

Sujata Gopinath: 
Ingredients:
1.Roasted peanuts/fried gram(hurkadle) - 3tsp
2. Grated coconut/
dessicated coconut -5 tsp
3. Green chillies - 2 or 3
4. Ginger - 1/2 incg
5. Tamarind - small coin size
6. Salt as per taste
7. Bunch of pudina/corriander leaves 
Method:
Grind all the ingredients together... preferably grind nuts/gram, then add other ingredients to grind with enough water.
Then season it with mustard,udhinbele, hing, curry leaves

Shruthi Chimbli: 
My version Corrainder Pudina chutney.. traditional yennala 

Coriander - 1 bunch
Pudina  - 1/4 bunch
Green Chillies - 1-2 depending on spice level
Ginger- 1 inch
Tamarind - 1/2 lemon size
Salt 
Coconut - 2-3 tbsp

Seasoning 
mustard 
urad dal
Chana dal
dry red chilli, 
currey leaves. 

Grind everything except coconut.  Adjust spice level or salt. Add coconut grind again.. give vogarne
Chutney ready.. 😉
